SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL JOHOR BAHRU

The name Soroptimist mean its related to two Latin words, 'soror' means 'sister' and 'optima' means 'the best'. The words when put together means, women achieving the best results for other women in the world. The first Soroptimist club was formed in 1921, currently there are four International Federations with 100,000 members in 121 countries, in over 3000 clubs. SI Johor Bahru meetings take place every fourth Tuesday of each month. Our Current President is Mdm. Mary Fernandez.
